Where you are NOW
Where you are now is a direct result of the choices you made in the past. I can’t argue that there are external factors – we may all start somewhere different. But I am going to argue that as we progress through life the direction, we take contains an element of choice.
Sometimes those choices may feel out of our control – after all, the environment in which we live consists a whole host of expectations and requirements. But what if we could, for a moment, discard the external pressures and live in a space where all options were possible.
As above, so below
The ancient hermetic principle of ‘as below, so above’ can be thought of in this way – that all in the universe is matched by our internal world. By inference, all that we change in our internal world, therefore, directly affects the external world. Like a two-way mirror.
Where you are now, therefore, is indeed a direct result of your past – and that most definity includes the choice you made.
How does that help you now and how does that relate to yoga? Simple – the choices you make today will directly affect your tomorrows. Every choice, every day.
Yoga for tomorrow
In yoga we use the principles of living in harmony with all, our body movement and breath – all to create a space for stillness and inner focus; a space in which we can allow our highest self to make the best choices for our life. Yoga is connection. Yoga is a way of life.
