The Game of Life
Rushing through the game of life we play roles: adapting to the needs of the moment. Scoring ourselves on our ‘achievements’. How is it going for you?
How’s you score?
Climbing the ladders we have to climb, sliding down the slopes as we do. Churning on and on through the days, the weeks, the months, the years. Collecting the education, the great job, the partner, the children, the house, the car, the holidays – or whatever your path has dictated for you.
The Diamond Inside
All the while losing sight of our true self – that diamond inside – who we really are: getting progressively buried in layers of shit. until we say ‘no more’. When will that point come – have you even realized you’ve wandered away from you true self? Does it matter?
In Dru Yoga we gently and progressively unload some of those layers– bit by bit reaching inwards to touch base with the true self. Dru yoga is connection. Remembering, if you will, who you really are.
The Game of Life
Reconnecting with that still point.
Dru Yoga is self-care, time for you. Stillness, balance.
More than just a few stretches and a bit of breathing. Since when did yoga become an form of exercise – have we lost touch with the ability to acknowledge that we must stand in our power in a way far greater than our physical presence?
More than that delicious relaxation but at the end. Though this is never to be skipped.
Your way
